£10m winger Jacob Murphy has started three Premier League games for Newcastle this season and could aid West Brom’s Championship promotion push

West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy on loan until the end of the season, according to the Express and Star.
Murphy moved to St James’ Park for £10 million in the summer of 2017 after a superb season in the Championship with Norwich City. But he has struggled to make the same impact in the top flight, starting just three Premier League games in 2018/19.
And it seems that West Brom are willing to offer the 23-year-old a short-term escape with Darren Moore scouring the market for a winger capable of replacing the influential Harvey Barnes, who was re-called by Leicester City earlier this month.
West Brom already have one attacker on loan from Newcastle, the prolific Dwight Gayle, and it will be interesting to see whether Murphy is willing to join him at The Hawthorns.

The England U21 international, who’s twin brother Josh players for Cardiff, scored nine goals and produced six assists for Norwich in the 2016/17 season while thrilling fans with his eye for the spectacular.
So Murphy could be a fine addition for a West Brom side who have scored the most goals in the Championship.
