Wes Hoolahan has made just four substitute appearances in the Championship since moving to West Bromwich Albion on a free from Norwich City.

Wes Hoolahan hasn’t quite made the impact West Bromwich Albion will have been hoping for when they signed the veteran playmaker on a free.
The 36-year-old, who left Norwich City after over a decade of loyal service at the end of last season, has played just 82 minutes of Championship football since moving to the Baggies, coming in four substitute appearances.
The last of those came against Blackburn Rovers in October, with Hoolahan coming off the bench for the final half an hour.
And, with the Scot’s short-term contract coming to an end in January, it remains to be seen what the future holds.

The Express and Star is reporting that The Baggies are hoping to see Hoolahan in action as much as possible between now and the end of the calendar year as Darren Moore and co debate whether the freebie signing should be kept on until the end of the season.
Hoolahan scored a penalty in a 2-0 win for West Brom’s U23s against Reading on Saturday and it is understood that he is playing for the reserves in an attempt to keep his fitness up.
