Trabzonspor will reportedly sell Turkish international Okay Yokuslu to West Bromwich Albion and the Premier League strugglers have watched him in action.

It is unknown how relegation would impact West Brom’s hopes of signing Trabzonspor midfielder Okay Yokuslu in the summer transfer window.
But despite the fact the Baggies are bottom of the Premier League and eight points from safety, it appears that they are pressing ahead in their pursuit of the Turkish international..

Links with the 24-year-old defensive midfielder first emerged in November with Haber Turk claiming that West Brom wanted to sign him in January, though Trabzonspor refused to sell midway through the season.
The same source, however, believes the Super Lig side will be more open to Yokuslu’s exit in the summer and will let West Brom sign the five-time Turkish international provided they meet his £7 million asking price.

Milliyet has now suggested that the Baggies could look to seize that opportunity. It is understood that West Brom sent scouts to watch Yokuslu in action during Trabzonspor’s 2-0 home defeat to reigning champions Besiktas on Monday night.
Despite the defeat, Yokuslu played well, boasting an 88 per cent pass completion rate which was the best of any Trabzonspor player to start the game.
AS stated on Thursday that West Brom are facing competition with Premier League rivals West Ham United also keen. The Hammers have been looking for a ball-winning, dynamic midfielder for some time and Yokuslu is the latest name linked after rumours of Harry Arter, Leander Dendoncker, Jonjo Shelvey and co.
But West Ham will have to act fast with the Baggies stepping up their pursuit.
