West Bromwich Albion are set to swap the Premier League for the Championship but are hoping to bring Kyle Turner to The Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion will need to rebuild a squad likely to be taken apart by Premier League vultures this summer and are reportedly planning to bring one of the most highly rated youngsters in Scotland to The Hawthorns.

“Kyle Turner has recently returned north after impressing English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion on trial, with the Premier League club now monitoring the youngster’s progress closely,” read a statement released by Stranraer and reported by the Daily Record.
Turner, who has a contract until 2021, has scored six goals in 41 appearances this season for a side who are sitting fifth in the third tier of Scottish football.

And it would be a surprise if Stranraer did anything to stand in Turner’s way of a big break at West Brom this summer.
The Daily Record adds that Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen are also interested in Turner, so the Baggies will not have it all their own way as they aim to sign the talented young midfielder during the summer transfer window.
