Ahmed Musa has not played a Premier League game all season for Leicester City but could be handed a fresh start by West Bromwich Albion.

Leicester City manager Claude Puel has insisted that Kelechi Iheanacho has a future with the Foxes despite a pretty anonymous first half of the season.
The same, however, probably cannot be said for Ahmed Musa. The 25-year-old has played just one game for Leicester all season, coming in August’s EFL Cup win against Sheffield United while Craig Shakespeare was still at the helm. And with Fousseni Diabate arriving at the King Power Stadium, Musa has fallen even further down the pecking order.

The Baggies are crying out for attacking reinforcements but, thanks to Financial Fair Play, may struggle to enhance a toothless forward line with permanent signings. Therefore, it is understood that they are planning a loan move for Musa, who cost Leicester a then club-record fee of £16 million from CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2016.
West Brom picked up a much-needed 2-0 win against fellow strugglers Brighton on Saturday but are still second from bottom in the table with the third worst goal tally in the division.

So if Musa can find the form that saw him stand out in Russia, he would add real pace to Alan Pardew’s attack while potentially providing goals from out wide.
Musa scored 13 goals in 30 league games for CSKA in 2015/16 before making that ill-fated switch to Leicester.
