West Bromwich Albion might have lost their Premier League status but not their ambition as they are reportedly bidding to bring Garry Rodrigues to The Hawthorns.

Garry Rodrigues has spent the last few months being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, but now it seems that a Championship club could be his destination.
The Galatasaray winger enjoyed a fantastic 2017/18 as his side won the Super Lig title, scoring nine goals and setting up another ten to help the Turkish giants see off competition from Fenerbahce, Istanbul BB and Besiktas at the end of a thrilling title race.

As such, Rodrigues has been linked with numerous English sides. But West Bromwich Albion are now at the front of the queue, despite being relegated from the Premier League as recently as May.
Aksam claims that the Baggies have offered £17.7 million to sign the Cape Verde winger. And it is understood that Galatasaray could be willing to sell for financial reasons, although manager Fatih Terim would obviously like to keep his best players with the club planning for a return to the Champions League next season.

West Brom’s current record signing is Oliver Burke, who joined from RB Leipzig last summer for £15 million.
The Scot failed to make an impression in the Midlands, however, so fans will be hoping that Rodrigues would prove to be a far more astute use of their funds.
