West Bromwich Albion are the most likely destination for Leicester City midfielder Andy King, according to the Nottingham Post.

It is expected that King will leave the King Power Stadium this month after 13 years in the blue of Leicester with a number of Championship clubs having been linked with a move.

The Post claims that Nottingham Forest have made an enquiry with The Foxes ready and willing to let their longest-serving player go. Swansea City are also understood to be interested, King having spent the second half of last season at the Liberty Stadium.

But it is understood that West Brom are at the front of the queue and in the box seat to sign the coveted 30-year-old, who has not made a single Premier League appearance under Claude Puel all season.

King would be a welcome addition at The Hawthorns given that Darren Moore has lost the goals of Harvey Barnes already this month.

And the experienced midfielder, who is renowned for his ability to make late, well-timed runs into the penalty area, has a fine track record in the Championship. He won the league with Leicester in 2014.
