West Bromwich Albion are looking at the Championship for creative midfielders with Brentford’s Romaine Sawyers and Blackburn Rovers’ Bradley Dack linked.

Understandably, Blackburn Rovers are determined to hang on to talisman Bradley Dack on transfer deadline day.
The former Gillingham man has been outstanding for Tony Mowbray’s side since he arrived at Ewood Park last summer and he has already scored four goals in all competitions this season.
The Sun reported that West Brom had made a £7 million bid on Thursday but their hopes of bringing Dack to the Hawthorns look to be dashed. The Express and Star claims that they have been told the play-maker is not for sale at any price.
So the Baggies are now looking for alternatives. And the report adds that a deal for Brentford’s Romaine Sawyers is still on the cards before today’s 5:00pm deadline.

The skilful 26-year-old started his career at West Brom but left in 2013 without making a single first-team appearance. And Sawyers has been linked with a return all summer after some fine performances in the Championship for Dean Smith’s Bees.
The trail has grown cold of late but the Express and Star believes that Darren Moore’s side could turn to Sawyers as they look to add a creative midfielder to the squad following the departure of Nacer Chadli to Monaco.
Sawyers might not score as many goals as Dack does but his arrival would help the transition into a more attractive and free-flowing style of football.
