Quique Sanchez Flores worked with West Bromwich Albion’s technical director Luke Dowling in the Premier League with Watford.

West Bromwich Albion have considered hiring Quique Sanchez Flores but Slaven Bilic remains the favourite to take over at The Hawthorns, according to the Express and Star.
The Baggies will be playing Championship football once again next season after they were beaten by Midland rivals Aston Villa in the play-off semi finals. And it remains to be seen who will replace club legend Darren Moore at the helm, though Bilic appears to be closing in on the job after holding talks with the club’s chiefs this week.
Bilic has not been confirmed just yet, however, and the Express and Star points out that there is still a number of possible alternatives, such as Chris Hughton and Lee Bowyer.
Sanchez Flores is another name on West Brom’s radar, the Spaniard having worked with West Brom’s technical director Luke Dowling during his time in charge of Watford in 2015/16.

The 54-year-old, who has also coached Atletico Madrid, Benfica and Valencia, impressed during his time at Vicarage Road and lead the Hornets to an FA Cup semi-final.
Sanchez Flores has been working in China with Shanghai Shenhua since December.
