Leigh Griffiths has been scoring for fun in the Scottish Premiership with Celtic but could he head back to England with West Brom and Crystal Palace linked?

Moussa Dembele is not the only Celtic striker interesting Premier League clubs this month.
According to the Daily Record, the Hoops’ number nine Leigh Griffiths has also attracted the attention of Premier League scouts with both West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace watching him in action over recent months.
The 27-year-old Scotland international has been in and out of Brendan Rodgers’ side this season, starting just nine of his 17 Scottish Premiership appearances, but has still found goals easy to come by. Griffiths, who had netted 78 times in his three full seasons at Celtic, has another ten to his name across 2017/18.

Blessed with a poacher’s finish but the vision and skill of a number ten, it should be no surprise that the former Wolves striker has his admirers from south of the border.
West Brom were linked back in June, according to the Daily Record, with the Baggies hopeful that a £6 million deal would do the trick. As it stands, Alan Pardew’s side are second from bottom in the Premier League table and only Swansea City have scored fewer than their 16 goals.

Palace, meanwhile, have just 20 to their name. And despite a recent and remarkable resurgence under Roy Hodgson, the Eagles’ lack of a regular goal-scorer continues to hold them back with the inconsistent Christian Benteke lacking any sort of back-up.
The report, however, adds that Celtic would not be interested in listening to any offers for Griffiths, yet that should not prevent the relegation threatened duo from putting a big bid on the table.
