Danish striker Zohore is reportedly set to become Slaven Bilic’s first big signing at Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion are poised to complete their first major signing of the Slaven Bilic era after agreeing an £8 million deal with Cardiff City for striker Kenneth Zohore, according to the Telegraph.
It has been a rather quiet summer so far for The Baggies. Only Filip Krovinovic has arrived at the Hawthorns so far, signing on loan from Benfica, while their best business of business has arguably been tying down academy graduate Rakeem Harper to a new contract.
But it seems that West Brom are set to explode into life with an £8 million deal for a striker with a proven track record in the Championship.
Cardiff have agreed to let Zohore swap South Wales for West Bromwich with just one year left on his contract and The Telegraph reports that the Dane is set to undergo a medical in the Midlands later on today.
Bilic was desperate for a new striker after the departures of Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez, who scored 46 Championship goals between them last season.

And Zohore will bring physicality and excellent link play to West Brom’s frontline, even if he was hardly prolific in his last two Championship campaigns with nine and 12 goals to his name respectively.
“He’s a manager’s dream, the first on the team sheet,” Cardiff boss Neil Warnock told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT (28 September 2017, 8:00am).
Time will tell whether he proves to be a ‘dream’ signing for Bilic.
