Premier League trio Watford, Burnley and Cardiff City are all reportedly interested in signing Nice’s Ligue 1 midfielder Adrien Tameze.

Adrien Tameze is at the centre of a tug-of-war between three Premier League clubs.
According to The Mail, the French midfielder has caught the eye after some fine performances for Patrick Vieira’s Nice side this season and has even been compared to Jean Michel Seri, who left the Ligue 1 side for Fulham in a £30 million deal last summer.
It is understood that Watford are preparing a £10 million bid for Tameze, with the 24-year-old identified as a ready-made replacement for the in-demand Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Doucoure has opened talks with PSG, The Mail add, though Thomas Tuchel’s side have not yet met Watford’s £45 million price tag.

The Hornets should face competition for Tameze’s signature, however, with Premier League strugglers Burnley and Cardiff City also interested in bringing the former France youth international across the Channel.
Burnley have looked far too vulnerable in recent months and Tameze, who can also play in defence, should offer some protection to a strangely wobbly back-line.
Cardiff, meanwhile, have shown a willingness to spend big this month with Neil Warnock’s side already linked with the likes of Emiliano Sala, Nathanial Clyne and Galatasaray starlat Ozan Kabak.
