Is Denis Vavro set to become Watford’s latest Premier League bargain? Serie A giants Lazio have reportedly made an £8 million bid.

Watford have failed with a bid for Copenhagen’s title-winning defender Denis Vavro, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Hornets enjoyed a fantastic 2018/19 campaign, comfortably avoiding any semblance of a relegation battle while reaching the FA Cup final under the softly-spoken Spaniard Javi Gracia.
And Watford’s recruitment team deserves a lot of credit for their recent success with the likes of Richarlison, Gerard Deulofeu, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Christian Kabasele arriving at Vicarage Road for bargain fees.
So with the Hornets eyeing Vavro, you can hang your hat on the 23-year-old’s potential.
A 6ft 3ins Slovakia international, Vavro played 25 games at centre-back as Copenhagen lifted the Superligaen title last season.

But Watford are at risk of missing out after seeing an initial bid rejected by the Danish giants, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.
Instead, Vavro could be on his way to Rome with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that Lazio have made an £8 million bid. The highly-rated defender could make a decision on his future on Friday when a meeting is due to take place and you can guarantee that Watford will be keeping a close eye on the situation.
