West Bromwich Albion wanted to sign Okay Yokuslu from Super Lig side Trabzonspor in January but his Premier League move was blocked.

Turkish midfielder Okay Yokuslu looks set to be a West Bromwich Albion player by the time the summer rolls around.
The Trabzonspor ace has been linked with a move to the Baggies since November, with former boss Tony Pulis a big fan of the 23-year-old defensive midfielder.
A five-time Turkey international who is renowned for his technique as much as his ball-winning ability, Yokuslu has been a shining light in a poor season for Trabzonspor, who are seventh in the Super Lig table as things stand.

And, even when Pulis was sacked and replaced by Alan Pardew three months ago, links with Yokuslu just would not go away. Haber Turk claimed that the Baggies had offered £7 million but Trabzonspor did not want to sell a key man midway through the season.
It should be a different story in the summer, however.
Because Haber Turk is now reporting that Trabzonspor have seemingly given up hope of keeping Yokuslu for much longer and will sell him to West Brom at the end of the season, provided the Baggies are still willing to pay £7 million.

Although with the Sun stating that Marseille’s Andre-Frank Zambo-Anguissa has emerged as the number one target, with a £13 million bid already being made, it remains to be seen if West Brom will seize their chance to bring Yokuslu to The Hawthorns second time around.
