Tottenham Hotspur surely risk missing out on Jack Grealish with Championship giants Aston Villa demanding a bigger fee.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is known for driving a hard bargain. But surely his reported tactics in the Jack Grealish race run the risk of Spurs missing out on the Aston Villa talisman this summer.
One day after TEAMtalk claimed that Chelsea will make a hugely tempting offer of £30 million, with the added incentive of allowing Grealish to return to Villa Park on loan for the 2018/19 season, it has been reported that Tottenham are willing to pay far, far less.

Aston Villa are in a huge financial crisis with the club reportedly needing to raise £40 million to avoid Financial Fair Play sanctions. And it is understood that Levy is trying to take full advantage by landing one of English football’s most exciting rising talents for far below his market value.
The Independent report that Villa want £30 million, double Spurs’ offer, for Grealish.

Villa may be desperate but that does not mean they will dance to Levy’s tune. As reported by TEAMtalk, a whole host of other Premier League teams are keen on Grealish, including Newcastle United, Arsenal, Everton, West Ham and Leicester City.
Villa should surely turn down Spurs’ offer as they will more than likely receive bigger bids in the coming weeks. Tottenham fans have been frustrated with a lack of investment in recent times and Levy’s hard-line stance over Grealish is likely to only annoy supporters.
