Vida shone as Croatia reached the World Cup final last year but could he get a belated move to the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Domagoj Vida from Besiktas this summer, according to Takvim.
With life at their space-age new stadium finally underway, Spurs can now turn their attention to the transfer market once again, although funds are expected to be tight once more during the upcoming transfer window.
So maybe this is why they have identified the experienced Vida as a potential replacement for Toby Alderweireld, according to Takvim.
A rugged 29-year-old centre-back, Vida shone as Croatia surprisingly reached the World Cup final last year but he ended up staying in Istanbul despite being linked with a big-money move to the Premier League.

A Spor claimed in July that Spurs had tabled a bid of £15.9 million but Besiktas, who were determined to secure a huge fee for a player they signed on a free from Dinamo Zagreb, refused to sell for that price.
It remains to be seen how much Besiktas want for Vida 12 months on. A versatile and battle-scarred defender who has earned 71 caps for his country, the one-time Bayer Leverkusen ace would add depth to a back line that could be severely weakened by Alderweireld’s departure.
