Boubacar Kamara was a revelation in Ligue 1 and the Europa League for Marseille, reportedly catching the eye of Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur fans might be dreaming of a late Harry Redknapp-style splurge on transfer deadline day, but that seems unlikely as things stand.
It is well documented that Spurs have not spent a penny all summer and now appear to have missed out on Jack Grealish after Aston Villa rejected a bid of £25 million, according to the Sun (9 August, page 59).
The report adds that Tottenham are set to make one last bid for the 22-year-old, who is apparently furious that his dream move to North London has been blocked.
But, with Aston Villa’s new owners reluctant to sell, it seems unlikely that Grealish will be wearing a Spurs shirt any time soon.
One player who could be a more likely addition, however, is Boubacar Kamara.
The Sun states that the Marseille centre-back is also on Mauricio Pochettino’s radar though, at just 18, he would be one for the future rather than someone capable of immediately improving Tottenham’s starting XI.

The France U19 ace made his mark on Marseille’s first-team last season and ended his breakthrough campaign with six Ligue 1 appearances.
Kamara has been compared to former Brazil captain Thiago Silva for his composed style and, according to Goal, Marseille beat Dortmund, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United to his signature.
He is also the youngest ever player to represent the French giants in European competition and has featured with aplomb at right-back or in defensive midfield.
