Koray Gunter is reportedly an option for a Tottenham Hotspur side wanting to bring a new defender to the Premier League.

Toby Alderweireld’s contract situation has not yet been resolved, while Juan Foyth gave away two penalties against Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, so it is no real surprise that Tottenham Hotspur are going all out for a new centre-back.
Reports from Italian publication Calciomercato have now reported that Koray Gunter is another name on their transfer wish list.
The 24-year-old is currently in Serie A with Genoa and only moved to the club on a free transfer from Galatasaray in the summer.
But Gunter, who made just one appearance in five years at Borussia Dortmund between 2008 and 2013, has been in and out of the Genoa team since his arrival, starting four of his seven league appearances.

Despite this, Calciomeracto claims that Tottenham are very interested in the former Germany U20 international and have scouted him on a number of occasions this season.
Do not expect Genoa to let Gunter go on the cheap, however, just months after they tied him down to a long-term contract until 2021.
