Bordeaux’s Ligue 1 star Malcom could still be moving to the Premier League with Spurs planning a new move for the Brazilian in the transfer window.

Tottenham’s links with the brilliant Brazilian winger Malcom have gone a little cold despite months of speculation linking him with a move to North London.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported this month that Inter Milan appeared to be going all out for Malcom, who Bordeaux value at £43 million. And, after Spurs decided to sign PSG’s Lucas Moura at his expense in the January transfer window, it seemed that the chances of Malcom moving to the English capital had disappeared.

Not necessarily.

It is understood that Spurs’ chief scout Steve Hitchin is a big fan of Malcom. And it is believed that he is more than capable of playing alongside compatriot Lucas, who can play in a range of positions across the midfield.
The likelihood is that Tottenham would have to smash their transfer record to sign Malcom who, at 21, is still very much a raw talent. But he is arguably the shining star of French league football, netting 12 times in a sensational Ligue 1 campaign in 2017/18 and Pochettino would love to work with a player with this much potential.
