Roma’s Edin Dzeko could reportedly return to the Premier League from Serie A with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United allegedly interested.

Harry Kane has once again injured his ankle ligaments.
Tottenham’s influential number ten limped down the tunnel at the end of their 1-0 defeat against Manchester United last week and is now set to be stuck on the sidelines until March – a devastating blow that leaves Spurs’ lingering title hopes hanging by a thread.
But, according to La Reppublica, Tottenham could aim to compensate for Kane’s absence by bringing Edin Dzeko back to English football.
The 32-year-old Roma talisman was a Manchester City player between 2011 and 2015 and actually had a fine record against Spurs, scoring four goals at White Hart Lane in a 5-1 win eight years ago. And Dzeko has scored 63 goals in his last two season with the Italian giants too.

So he would be a fine back-up option for England’s World Cup golden boot winner – and a potential upgrade on Fernando Llorente.
Interestingly, La Reppublica points out that Tottenham face competition from their bitter London rivals West Ham United, who have identified Dzeko as the ideal replacement for seemingly China-bound Marko Arnautovic.
And The Hammers could have a key advantage, given that Manuel Pellegrini was in charge of Man City when Dzeko enjoyed his most prolific season in English football back in 2013/14.
