Spurs want Michy Batshuayi while Premier League and London rivals Chelsea are keen on Fernando Llorente so surely this move makes sense.

There has already been one huge swap deal taking place between two bona fide Premier League giants and we might see another before the window slams shut.
BBC Sport claimed on Tuesday that the out-of-favour Batshuayi had rejected the chance to sign for Spurs as he wants guaranteed first-team football after 18 months on the bench at Stamford Bridge. He would be hard pushed to overhaul Harry Kane in Spurs’ attack.

But despite the BBC claiming that a potential swap deal involving Llorente would not happen, mainly because Chelsea only want to let the £33million Batshuayi leave on loan, L’Equipe understands that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is still pursuing a deal.
On paper, the agreement would make sense.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been hoping to sign Llorente for a year now, having worked with the Spanish target man during his spell in charge of Juventus. Tottenham beat Chelsea to the former Athletic Bilbao striker in the summer, according to ESPN, but he has struggled to make an impression in North London, making just one Premier League start.

The 32-year-old could prove a better fit for Chelsea, however, with Conte openly looking for a giant striker to take the pressure off the struggling Alvaro Morata.
With a deal for Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud in the balance, perhaps the Blues should be more open to the idea of letting Batshuayi go on a permanent deal in order to sign the striker Conte has been after for so long.
