Mauricio Pochettino worked with Jay Rodriguez at Southampton and is considering a reunion at Premier League giants Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur could really take full advantage of West Brom’s relegation from the Premier League this season.
According to The Telegraph in March, Spurs are keen to sign Baggies centre-back Jonny Evans on a bargain deal and add more experience to the top flight’s third best defence. There is a clause in Evans’ contract allowing him to leave The Hawthorns for just £3 million if they are relegated.

It is claimed that Mauricio Pochettino will be given a budget of at least £120 million to strengthen his squad this summer with a number of targets already established, including Crystal Palace talisman Wilfried Zaha, Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles and Ajax’s 18-year-old centre-half Matthijs de Ligt.
And The Telegraph states that Pochettino is considering a move for his former Southampton striker Rodriguez, who has been a rare bright spark for West Brom since his £12 million move last summer.

The former Burnley man took his Premier League tally to seven for the season with the winner in West Brom’s shock 1-0 win away at Manchester United on Sunday.
And Rodriguez enjoyed the finest spell of his career under Pochettino at Southampton, almost forcing his way into England’s World Cup 2014 squad before suffering a cruelly timed cruciate ligament injury.
