Vincent Janssen could finally be on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window but will a Premier League side take the risk?

To say Vincent Janssen needs a fresh start would be an understatement.
The £18.6 million Dutch striker has become Tottenham’s forgotten man, having been left out of their 25 man Premier League squad for the first half of the season. In fact, he has not made a single appearance for Spurs since the end of 2016/17, having spent the previous campaign on loan at Fenerbahce.
With the January transfer window open, this could be Janssen’s chance to plot an escape route out of his North London nightmare.
According to Sky Sports, a number of struggling Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on the former AZ Alkmaar man, although it is understood that Janssen is not currently at the top of anyone’s wish list.
The report does not identify which teams are interested in the Holland international, however. According to the Mail, Brighton were interested in signing Janssen in 2017 only for him to turn down a move to The Amex.

These days, Chris Hughton has Glen Murray, Florin Andone and a resurgent Jurgen Locadia at his disposal. Having said that, the likes of Cardiff, Newcastle and Huddersfield could all do with signing a striker this month and Janssen could fit the bill.
According to Sky Sports, Janssen is set to make his long-awaited return from a long-standing foot injury in Monday’s Premier League 2 match against Liverpool.
