Fenerbahce youngster Omur Faruk Beyaz could reportedly be heading to the Premier League with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur both linked.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino looks on ahead of The Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round Replay match between Tottenham Hotspur and Rochdale on February 28, 2018 in London, United Kingdom.

Turkish football appears to have a bright future with promising youngsters like Kagan Guctekin and Abdulkadir Omur seemingly attracting the attention of some of the biggest clubs on the continent in recent months.

But according to Fenerbahce president Ali Koc, young Omur Faruk Beyaz is the future of football in Turkey right now. The teenage midfielder might not have made his debut for Fener’s first-team just yet but his performances at youth level have attracted plenty of interest from outside his homeland.

According to Fanatik, Arsenal and Real Madrid are interested in Beyaz – who Koc called ‘the best of his age group’ anywhere in Turkey.

It is reported, however, that Tottenham Hotspur are in the strongest position to land Beyaz’s signature this summer. Fanatik adds that Spurs have been in contact with the youngster’s family and they are leading the chase to snap him up as a result.

Daniel Levy , chairman of Tottenham Hotspur looks on during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea City at Wembley Stadium on September 16, 2017 in London, England.

Considering just how many young talents have blossomed during Mauricio Pochettino’s time in North London, it is difficult to argue against Spurs being the prime destination for a player with Beyaz’s potential.

And beating bitter rivals Arsenal to his signature would make the signing all the more sweeter.

It remains to be seen, however, whether the lure of Champions League winners Real Madrid proves too strong.
