Chelsea are understood to be battling Real Madrid and Barcelona for Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen.

Tottenham Hotspur fans won’t want to hear this but it seems that Christian Eriksen’s future in North London is more uncertain than ever.
It is well documented that the Danish midfielder is close to entering the final year of his contract and Spurs have so far failed to tie him down to a long-term deal. AS reported yesterday that Eriksen has been in talks with the Premier League giants for a while now but seems increasingly unlikely to stay as things stand.
Now, interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona is nothing new. But could Spurs really lose Eriksen to their bitter London rivals?
AS has provided an update on Thursday, claiming that Chelsea are keeping a close eye on developments down the road at Wembley.

It goes without seeing that losing Eriksen to Stamford Bridge is something that could have Tottenham fans waking up in a cold sweat.
The report adds that Jose Mourinho was keen to bring Eriksen to Old Trafford during his time at Manchester United but it remains to be seen what the Portuguese’s departure means for a club who have been rejuvenated since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over.
