Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with two Championship attackers – Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen and Leeds United’s Jack Clarke.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a number of lower league starlets in recent months, with the North London giants seemingly looking to unearth the next Dele Alli.
But, according to the Evening Standard, manager Mauricio Pochettino has reservations about two of Spurs’ targets – Leeds United winger Jack Clarke and Hull City’s red-hot forward Jarrod Bowen.
It is understood that Tottenham are hoping to add one or two home-grown talents to their squad, having exceeded the amount of overseas players allowed in the Champions League.
The Mirror reported earlier this month that they were planning to offer £12 million to sign Bowen; a 22-year-old attacking midfielder who cannot stop scoring in the amber and black stripes of Hull City.
The former Hereford United youngster has 14 goals in the Championship this season, including ten in his last ten games.

Teenager Clarke, meanwhile, has established himself as a key player for table-topping Leeds United, turning plenty of heads with his pace, directness and reliable end product that belies his 18 years.
The Mirror stated on Monday that Spurs wanted to sign Clarke before this week’s transfer deadline and were willing to loan him back to Leeds until the summer.
But it seems that Pochettino would need some convincing if the club went all out for Bowen or Clarke, with the Argentine coach seemingly keen on alternative targets.
