Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United reportedly want Ajax’s Eredivisie goalkeeper.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have expressed an interest in signing Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to De Telegraaf.
A 22-year-old shot-stopper, Onana has been Ajax’s undisputed number one since he arrived in Amsterdam in 2016, although he is yet to win a trophy with arguably the biggest club in Dutch football, losing in the Europa League final to Manchester United two years ago.
However, it seems his excellent displays between the sticks could pave the way for a big money move to England.
De Telegraaf believes that Spurs and West Ham have informed Ajax of their interest before the club’s KNVB Cup semi-final against Feyenoord.

The London duo would have to stump up a substantial fee, however, with sporting director Marc Overmars allegedly wanting around £30 million for the Cameroon international. Arsenal are also interested and they may be hoping that their relationship with Overmars, a former Gunners winger, would give them an advantage.
In an intriguing twist, the report adds that Barcelona are keen to sign Onana as a back-up to Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. Ironically, Onana spent five years in Barca’s academy but was never given a chance in the first-team.
