Swansea City are reportedly hoping to bring Tom James to the Championship and could sell both Naughton and Alfie Mawson.
Tom James was released by Cardiff City in January 2017 and could already be set for a return to South Wales, but not with the Bluebirds.
After months of speculation, the Mirror (live blog, 12.14am) reports that Swansea City hope to win the race for the coveted defender this summer.
James has impressed in League Two with Yeovil Town over the last year-and-a-half. And it is understood that Swansea are planning a £350,000 cut-price deal for the 22-year-old, who has just 12 months left on his contract at Huish Park.
Swansea struggled at right-back badly last season, with Kyle Naughton out of form as they were relegated from the Premier League under Carlos Carvalhal. The experienced Angel Rangel left at the end of the campaign once his contract expired.
Interestingly, the Mirror adds that Swansea could cash in on the former Tottenham defender Naughton, which would make room for the two-time Wales U19 international to move to the Liberty Stadium and immediately become the first-choice right-back under new manager Graham Potter.
It is understood that Swansea are set to sell Alfie Mawson, too. The £20 million-rated centre-back has been linked with a whole host of Premier League sides of late.
