Brentford have already rejected an offer from Swansea City for Ryan Woods but the Championship club are not giving up just yet.

Ryan Woods was left out of Brentford’s opening day victory over Rotherham United because, in the words of manager Dean Smith, he was distracted. This does not bode well, then, for any Bees fans hoping that the talented midfielder would remain at Griffin Park after the transfer window shuts.
Woods established himself as one of the most highly-rated midfielders in the Championship last season and, as a result, has attracted the attention of the recently relegated Swansea City.
According to Sky Sports, the Swans had a £6 million bid rejected last week but Brentford determined not to sell on the cheap.
But it is reported that the South Wales side will return with a new offer of £7 million, which they obviously hope will be enough to convince the West London outfit to sell.

The energetic 24-year-old moved to Griffin Park from Shrewsbury Town in 2015 and has got better by the season. He was named Brentford’s Supporters’ Player of the Year for his stellar efforts in 2017/18.
Sky Sports add that Woods is keen to join Graham Potter’s Swansea.
But a potential problem could have arisen due to the fact that Sam Clucas, who Woods was expected to replace at the Liberty Stadium, has seen a move to Burnley fall through after he failed to agree personal terms.
