Aberdeen secured an impressive draw with Premier League Burnley in Europa League qualifying with Championship outfit Swansea reportedly watching on.

If Swansea City are to fight for an immediate return to the Premier League, Graham Potter could do with adding a defender or two to his ranks.
The Swans have already sold Kyle Bartley to Championship rivals West Brom while Argentine international Federico Fernandez is expected to leave too. His former Napoli manager Rafa Benitez wants a reunion at Newcastle United, according to The Sun, and had a loan bid rejected at the weekend. As for Alfie Mawson, he’s on his way to newly promoted Fulham.
As a result, Swansea are in the market for new recruits – and appear to be stepping up their interest in Aberdeen’s Scotland star Scott McKenna.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a superb breakthrough season in 2017/18 and captained his country in only his fourth international appearance against Mexico in May. And with Aberdeen keen to avoid losing another key player on the cheap, they are demanding £10 million for the commanding centre-back.

It remains to be seen whether this fee will put Swansea off. But, for now, it seems that McKenna is right at the top of their wishlist.
Wales Online claims that the South Welsh side scouted McKenna during the Dons’ 1-1 Europa League qualifying draw with Premier League Burnley on Thursday. Though it is reported that McKenna is not the only defender on Potter’s Swansea hit-list.
