Premier League survival hopefuls Swansea City are once again hoping to lure Andy Yiadom to the Liberty Stadium from Championship side Barnsley.

Swansea City’s pursuit of a right-back looks set to go down to the wire.
The BBC reported at the start of the month that the Swans were very keen to sign Fulham flying Ryan Fredericks for around £3 million. But the former Tottenham Hotspur youngster will now be staying at Craven Cottage until the summer at least.

Six months later, however, the former Torquay United talent could finally be on his way to the Liberty Stadium if Swansea stump up a fee that will tempt Barnsley into a sale. GhanaSoccerNet in November suggested that £4 million would be enough to get their man.

Yiadom has started 17 Championship games this season, with Barnsley struggling at the wrong end of the Championship table. And the 26-year-old was superb for the Tykes in 2016/17, emerging as one of the most sought-after defenders outside the Premier League.
Yiadom would offer some much needed competition for the out-of-form Kyle Naughton.
