Like former Liverpool starlet Ibe, Afobe has struggled to justify his hefty price tag since moving from Wolves for £10 million in January last year, as reported by the BBC.
A ruthless finisher in the lower leagues, the former Arsenal youngster has managed just 10 in 49 Premier League appearances for the Cherries. Therefore, Swansea supporters could be forgiven for wondering whether Afobe would be worth paying a high price for, with Bournemouth likely to demand recouping their outlay.
However, he would offer a more mobile option up top, complementing the ageing targetman Llorente and the penalty-box poacher Abraham.
