Andy King could reportedly return to Swansea City from Leicester City with another Championship side, West Bromwich Albion, allegedly keen.
Swansea City are battling West Brom to bring former loan ace Andy King back to the Liberty Stadium during the January transfer window, according to Wales Online.
The 30-year-old midfielder is expected to bring an end to 13 years at Leicester this month, having failed to make a single Premier League appearance this season under Claude Puel.
King spent the second half of last season on loan at Swansea, scoring twice as they were relegated from the Premier League, and Wales Online claims that a return to the Liberty is on the cards.
The report adds that West Bromwich Albion are also interested in King, who has a fine reputation in the second tier and helped Leicester win the league back in the 2013/14 season.
A goal-scoring midfielder renowned for his perfectly-timed runs into the penalty area, the veteran would only enhance a West Brom side who are already the Championship’s most prolific team.
Sky Sports claimed earlier in the week that Nottingham Forest had expressed an interest in King though Martin O’Neill’s side were facing competition from a number of their league rivals.
