Premier League duo Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham are both reportedly interested in Inter Milan attackers heading into the January transfer window.

Reports in Italy have provided an update in Fulham’s chase for Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva on Thursday night.

Calciomercato initially reported earlier in November that the Premier League side were hoping to sign the experienced Italy international in the January transfer window with London rivals West Ham United also understood to be interested.

Now, Tuttomercatoweb has added some flesh to the bones, claiming that Fulham have indeed launched an inquiry for Candreva, who moved to the San Siro from Lazio for £20 million in the summer of 2016.

But Fulham’s chances could rest on what Wolves do in January.

Tuttomercatoweb have already stated that Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing another former Lazio attacker who is now at Inter Milan – the jet-heeled Senegal international Keita Balde Diao.

And TMW have now added that only one of Candreva or Keita is likely to leave in the New Year – meaning if Fulham get their man, Wolves could miss out and vice versa.

As it stands, however, it would seem that Inter would be more likely to cash in on Candreva than bring an end to Keita’s loan move from Monaco. 31-year-old Candreva came off the bench for the final seven minutes as a second-string Inter side beat Frosinone 3-0 last weekend while Keita started and scored twice.
