Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly still keen to sign Liverpool’s seldom-seen Premier League striker Divock Origi.

If Wolverhampton Wanderers are still hopeful of signing Divock Origi at the second time of asking, then Nuno Espirito Santo might just have been handed a major boost.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Origi turned down the chance to swap Anfield for Molineux in August despite Wolves seemingly agreeing a £22 million fee with the Merseyside giants.
But the Liverpool Echo believes that Wolves haven’t given up hope just yet and are expected to launch a second bid for the 23-year-old Belgian international when the January transfer window opens in a few weeks’ time.
And it seems that Liverpool could be open to the idea of sending Origi to the Black Country. ESPN have claimed on Tuesday that The Reds have turned down a loan bid from Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray, believing instead that the striker would benefit more from staying in the Premier League.

So if Wolves make their move, they could be well placed to finally snap Origi up. The 2014 World Cup ace has barely featured for Liverpool this season and joining a domestic rival on loan would give him the chance to prove that he is good enough for the Premre League.
Should Origi impress at Wolves, Liverpool could either sell him for a big fee next summer or take him back to Anfield with his confidence through the roof.
