Jason Cummings is on loan at Scottish Premiership giants Rangers from Championship club Nottingham Forest.

Jason Cummings has restored his reputation somewhat at Rangers following that nightmare spell at Nottingham Forest.
Cummings has scored five times for the Scottish giants since his January move, but it remains to be seen whether he has done enough to justify Rangers making his loan from the City Ground permanent.
The Daily Record point out that Rangers have the option to sign the former Hibernian goal-machine this summer but he will not come cheap. It is not confirmed how much the Ibrox side would have to pay but reports in the Mail back in January claimed that Forest valued Cummings at around £1 million.

And, if you factor in Cummings’ Scottish Cup hat-trick against Falkirk, it must be pointed out that he has hit the net in just three of his 12 appearances for Rangers in the last two months, albeit with many of those coming from the substitute’s bench.
The Daily Record, however, claims that there is likely to be other clubs interested in a player who became the first Hibs man in over 50 years to score 20 goals in three successive campaigns back in the 2016/17 season.

Cummings has the potential to be a prolific poacher and his call-up for the recent Scotland squad would have done his status no harm at all.
But he may need a strong end to the season to convince Rangers to part with a substantial transfer fee.
