Newcastle United will sell Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer if they receive a bid of £20m; will Premier League rivals West Ham pay for the Fulham loanee?

David Moyes has watched Aleksandar Mitrovic more than once in the last few weeks.
The Hammers were linked with a move for the Newcastle United owned striker in the January transfer window before he joined Championship side Fulham on loan, with the Sun claiming that no team was willing to meet the Magpies’ valuation of £15 million.
But Mitrovic’s superb form at Fulham appears to have piqued Moyes’ interest again. He was spotted in the Craven Cottage crowd as the 23-year-old made it eight goals in nine starts for Slavisa Jokanovic’s promotion chasers during Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat of Leeds United.

And it is fair to say Mitrovic turned on the style under the watchful gaze of the West Ham manager. The former Anderlecht sensation netted both goals to seal a 2-0 win against the Super Eagles, producing an inspired flicked finish for the first and then sliding home a clinical second with nine minutes to go.

For all those mathematicians out there, Moyes has watched Mitrovic twice in the last week and he has scored three times.
With the Chronicle claiming that West Ham would have to now pay £20 million to tempt Newcastle into a sale this summer, Mitrovic could hardly have done a better job showing that he is worth a punt.
