Aston Villa are close to bringing Yannick Bolasie on loan to the Championship from Premier League side Everton, according to reports.

Aston Villa were in crisis not long ago, unable to make additions while seemingly being forced to sell their star players. Not any more. Now, Steve Bruce is trying to put together one of the most dangerous attacking sides in the Championship.
John McGinn is already impressing in claret and blue after his £3 million move from Hibernian while Anwar El-Ghazi has arrived on loan from Ligue 1 side Lille. The 23-year-old is a former Ajax starlet who has represented Holland twice at international level and could make a big impact in the Championship.
And Villa are also on the verge of another hugely impressive signing with Yannick Bolasie spotted in the director’s box during the 2-2 home draw with Brentford on Wednesday night.

The £28 million Everton winger is set to join Aston Villa on loan but don’t rule out Bolasie staying in the Midlands for the long-term too. As reported by RMC Sport (live blog, 11.54am), Villa’s offer for the 29-year-old includes an option to buy at the end of the season.
So if the former Crystal Palace winger finds his form again under Bruce, expect Villa to tie him down to a permanent deal.
As reported by The Mail, Bolasie is valued at around £15 million so this is the figure that Villa might have to pay in a years’ time.
