Liverpool will loan out Marko Grujic this month with Aston Villa facing Premier League opposition from both West Ham United and Huddersfield Town.

And just to make the potential deal even more impressive, it appears that they could beat at least two Premier League clubs to one of Europe’s most promising midfield talents.
ESPN stated last week that West Ham United and Huddersfield Town had both made enquiries about the availability of the former Red Star Belgrade wonder-kid, who Liverpool invested £5.1 million in back in the winter of 2016.
West Ham boss David Moyes had been open about his desire to add another midfielder to his squad and Grujic, likened to Paul Pogba and Steven Gerrard for his explosive athleticism and long-range rocket shots, appeared to tick all the boxes.

For all his potential, the Serbian 21-year-old has only made eight substitute appearances for Liverpool in league football and Klopp wants Grujic to join a club that would give him access to more regular minutes.

So this appears to rule out West Ham and Huddersfield, while giving Aston Villa hope of signing a player Klopp himself said has ‘made progress like hell’.
The Liverpool Echo, however, states that a whole host of Championship clubs have made their interest known. And with Villa boasting one of the league’s strongest midfields on paper, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool see the Midland giants as the best environment for Grujic to develop.
