Bojan’s career at Championship outfit Stoke City is uncertain with Primeira Liga giants FC Porto and SL Benfica both reportedly interested

Back in July, Stoke City manager Gary Rowett told the Sentinal that he was hoping to get the best out of Bojan Krkic.
“He’s an intelligent player and his understanding of the game is obviously excellent. And he’s a very, very good player. He’s a player we want to see if we can get back to what he’s been in the past, build that confidence.”
Interestingly, however, Rowett also suggested that he would be open to letting the 27-year-old depart the Bet365 Stadium should he be tempted by an offer from elsewhere.
And after plying his trade in Spain, Holland, Italy and England, Bojan could soon add Portugal to that list.

The Sun (12 August, page 59) report that Porto and Benfica are both scouting the former Barcelona whizkid and are interested in signing him before the end of the month. It is understood that this could be either a permanent or a temporary deal and Stoke would not stand in his way.
Porto won the Primeira Liga title for the first time since 2013 last season and will therefore be playing Champions League football in the coming months. So you could see why Bojan, who has played just 92 minutes of Stoke’s first two Championship games, would be interested.
