Danish World Cup left-back Jonas Knudsen was excellent in the Championship for Ipswich and has reportedly caught The Potters’ eye.

Stoke City appear to have everything in place to fight for an immediate return to the Premier League next season.
In Gary Rowett, The Potters have secured one of the brightest managers outside of the top flight while the signings of Benik Afobe, Tom Ince, James McClean and Ashley Williams mean they have plenty of Championship quality and experience.
And that is without mentioning Oghenekaro Etebo, the Nigerian World Cup star who could be an absolute revelation in Stoke colours.
Though according to the Mail (live blog, 1.28pm), they aren’t finished yet.
It is reported that Stoke have now turned their attention to reinforcing their options at left-back and have made a £1 million bid to sign Jonas Knudsen from Ipswich Town.

The 25-year-old, who featured for Denmark at the World Cup this summer, was in superb form for Ipswich last season. Powerful and aggressive in attack, he assisted seven goals in 42 Championship starts.
Knudsen moved to Portman Road from Danish outfit Esbjerg in 2015 and has just one year left on his contract. It remains to be seen whether Ipswich would be willing to cash in rather than lose him on a free net summer.
