Che Adams has eight Championship goals for Birmingham this season and Gary Rowett reportedly wants to work with him again at Stoke.

Two and a half years after bringing Che Adams to Birmingham City from Sheffield United, it seems that Gary Rowett is keen to work with the powerful forward again.
According to The Telegraph, Rowett’s current employers Stoke City are preparing to launch a £5 million bid to sign the in-form Blues ace during the January transfer window.
Adams is arguably in the form of his life right now, having scored an impressive eight goals in 14 Championship starts for The Blues in 2018/19. One of those was a winner against Stoke at the Bet365 Stadium in September, while Adams also fired home a clinical hat-trick against Hull before the international break.
Rowett’s Potters have struggled for end product in the final third since dropping down to the Championship, scoring just 19 times in 17 matches.

Benik Afobe, the marquee £12 million signing from Wolverhampton Wanderers, has just four to his name while Bojan, Peter Crouch, Saido Berahino and Mame Biram Diouf have tallied three between them.
With Birmingham seemingly establishing themselves as dark horses for a place in the play-offs, however, they will surely be doing everything in their power to keep Adams at St Andrew’s.
