Premier League giants Everton want James Maddison after a marvellous season in the Championship with Norwich City.

It has seemed inevitable for some time that James Maddison would be on his way out of Carrow Road this summer.
The England U21 international has scored 14 goals and assisted eight in a remarkable breakthrough season at Norwich City, attracting interest from some of England’s biggest clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and Everton, according to The Telegraph.
The report, however, added that Norwich were determined to keep their talismanic midfielder, three months after losing their other creative lynchpin Alex Pritchard to Huddersfield Town.

The Norwich Player of the Year will be sold so long as a club meets their £30 million valuation. It will be interesting to see whether a Tottenham or Everton side not lacking in talented central midfielders will oblige and make Maddison the most expensive player in the history of the Championship.

There may be no obvious place in the starting XIs of Everton or Spurs for Maddison, but the 21-year-old is a huge talent with bags of potential who, given the space and time to blossom, could develop into one of the most gifted midfielders in the Premier League on Merseyside or North London.
The Mirror also reports that Norwich could sell Josh Murphy too, amid interest from Swansea City, Leicester and Crystal Palace.
In better news, however, out-of-contract midfielder Alex Tettey is set to sign a new two-year deal.
