Francois Kamano could move to the Premier League with Southampton after shining in Ligue 1 with Bordeaux.

Southampton are still interested in the Bordeaux forward Francois Kamano, having come close to signing the striker in January, according to Noticias de Gipuzkoa.
The Guinean forward has been in impressive form for Bordeaux this season, scoring 11 goals in competitions to ensure this is already the most prolific campaign of his career.
As a result, the Ligue 1 outfit face a tough challenge hanging onto their prize asset with clubs in France and abroad expressing an interest.
The report claims that Real Sociedad are keen to lure Kamano to Spain, most likely as a replacement for the Everton loanee Sandro Ramirez who has not scored a goal in 17 La Liga appearances. Atletico Madrid and Monaco have also been keeping tabs on the former Bastia ace.

But it seems they will face competition from Southampton. Plenty of Premier League clubs have been linked with Kamano of late but the Saints appear to have emerged as the most likely destination, retaining an interest in a player they tried and failed to sign in January.
It is claimed that Kamano could cost up to £18 million, which would make him one of the most expensive signings in Southampton’s history.
