Southampton have been linked with the Serie A star.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are facing a challenge from Southampton in the race for Brazilian left-back Rogerio, according to The Mirror (25 January, page 59).
The 21-year-old is a Juventus player but has been on loan at Sassuolo since the start of the 2017/18 season, establishing himself as one of the top young full-backs in European football during his time at the Mapei Stadium.
And, according to The Mirror, both Wolves and Southampton are keen to offer Rogerio a move to England during the January transfer window.
Reports in Italy have already highlighted Wolves’ interest, Tuttomercatoweb claiming a fortnight ago that they had made a bid of £16 million for the Brazil U20 international.
Nuno Espirito Santo could potentially see Rogerio as a replacement for Jonny Otto, who is only on loan at Molineux from Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.

Links with Southampton are something new, however, and could as a bit of a surprise given that Ralph Hasenhuttl can already call upon Ryan Bertrand and Matt Targett.
The Mirror adds that Newcastle United have also been watching Rogerio, who has been tipped to challenge Alex Sandro for a place in Juventus’s starting XI next season.
But it seems that The Magpies will bow out of the race after agreeing a loan deal for Lazio’s Belgium international left-back Jordan Lukaku.
