Oumar Niasse’s Premier League career is reportedly coming to an end with the Everton striker on his way to the Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.
Everton failed to sign a traditional number nine this summer so you could be forgiven for thinking that Oumar Niasse would play an important role in the months ahead.
But, like during the reigns of Ronald Koeman and Sam Allardyce, the Senegal striker is once again being heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park.
According to Gunes, Niasse is a target for Super Lig champions Galatasaray, who are claimed to have already made an offer to sign the striker on loan.
And it seems that, after seemingly endless speculation, the £13 million man could finally be heading for the exit. The report adds that Marco Silva is expected to allow the former Lokomotiv Moscow striker to leave and Niasse will be in the stands next time Galatasaray play a league game.
The Istanbul giants have until the end of August to complete the deal.
Interestingly, Niasse could link up with another Everton striker, Henry Onyekuru (above), in Turkey. The talented young Nigerian joined Gala on loan earlier in the summer as he awaits a work permit to play in the Premier League.
28-year-old Niasse has never lived up to his £13 million but has developed something of a cult following among Toffees fans for his prodigious work ethic and ability to make an impact off the bench. He scored eight goals in just 10 Premier League starts in 2017/18.
