Neeskens Kebano could move on loan to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday after failing to make a Premier League start in Fulham colours.
Sheffield Wednesday have scored just six goals in their last seven games in all competitions so a new attacker would be welcomed at Hillsbprough with open arms this month.
And, according to the Star, Wednesday are in negotiations to sign Neeskens Kabano from Fulham in a deal that would likely see him arrive on loan until the end of the campaign.
The versatile 26-year-old was a key player as The Cottagers sealed a return to the Premier League last season but he has not started a game in the top flight under either Slavisa Jokanovic or Claudio Ranieri.
And with Fulham having landed experienced Dutch international Ryan Babel earlier in the week, it seems that the door is open for Kebano to try his hand elsewhere.
An industrious forward who is named after legendary Holland midfielder Johan Neeskens, Kebano started his career with Paris Saint-Germain and arrived at Fulham in 2016 from KRC Genk in a deal understood to be worth £3.8 million, according to the Star.
The DR Congo international scored nine Championship gaols for The Cottagers and it remains to be seen if he can add bite to Sheffield Wednesday’s front line.
