Sheffield United have reportedly made a club-record bid for Real Betis striker Moron and the La Liga outfit allegedly want Divock Origi as his replacement.

Sheffield United have made a club-record bid in excess of £22.5 million for Real Betis striker Loren Moron, according to Univision, with the Blades’ striker search potentially impacting the future of Liverpool’s Champions League hero Divock Origi too.
It is no secret that Chris Wilder wants to bring a quality centre-forward to Bramall Lane to take the pressure of veteran goalscorer Billy Sharp and, after links with Neal Maupay, Britt Assombalonga and co, it seems that Spanish target man Moron has emerged as the number one target.
Despite scoring just six times in 33 La Liga games last season, Univision believes that Sheffield United have launched a massive bid for the 25-year-old – totalling in excess of £22.5 million.
Such an offer could be too good to turn down for Bets, who have apparently chosen a replacement for Moron already.

Univision adds that the Andalucian outfit are keen to offer Origi a fresh start after a season in which he once again struggled for game time under Jurgen Klopp despite some high-profile goals, including the second in the Champions League final victory against Tottenham.
Origi has just one year on his contract at Liverpool and they must be tempted to cash in should a big offer arrive. After all, there are far better options out there than the Belgian bench-warmer.
