Luke Freeman is reportedly on his way to the Premier League with Sheffield United as Queens Park Rangers look to sell the Championship play-maker.

Sheffield United are set to get their transfer window up and running in the next 24 hours with Luke Freeman on his way to Bramall Lane from Queens Park Rangers for an initial £3 million, as reported by Sky Sports.
Despite being linked with a whole host of players since they secured their return to the Premier League, the Blades have been forced to wait patiently as Chris Wilder looks to enhance a squad which defied expectations by finishing second in the Championship last season.
But it seems only a matter of time before Freeman’s arrival is confirmed. Sky claim that QPR’s reigning Player of the Year is set to complete a £3 million move to the Steel City in the next 24 hours.
Though while Sheffield United fans will be breathing an almighty sigh of relief, supporters of Leeds United won’t greet the deal with anywhere near the same amount of enthusiasm.

Leeds have been linked with Freeman for a number of months now and London Football News reported on Monday that they were still keen to lure the former Arsenal youngster to Elland Road.
A skilful and creative midfielder blessed with superb dead-ball delivery, he would have provided some much needed cutting edge in a midfield that so often last season monopolised possession without managing to carve open clear chances.
But it seems that the allure of Premier League football is too much for Freeman to turn down – and who can blame him.
