Dean Henderson won promotion from the Championship with Sheffield United but will the Manchester United ‘keeper play for them in the Premier League?

Sheffield United are keen to bring Dean Henderson back to Bramall Lane before he jets off to play for England in the U21 European Championships in June, as reported by The Star.
The Manchester United goalkeeper spent the 2018/19 season on loan in the Steel City and he made a remarkable impact, keeping a Championship-high 21 clean sheets as Chris Wilder’s side sealed a return to the Premier League after a 12-year absence.
So it is no surprise that Sheffield United are keen to tie up another deal for Henderson, whether that be a season-long loan or a permanent deal.
The Sun (2 May, page 56) suggested that the Blades could cough up a club-record £7 million fee to sign the 22-year-old shot-stopper.

Whatever the details of the deal, Sheffield United want to get it signed and sealed before England’s U21s take on France in their European Championship qualifier on June 18. The tournament starts three days earlier, on June 15.
Henderson has earned six caps for England at U21 level and it remains to be seen whether he starts between the sticks for Aidy Boothroyd in San Marino. He will face competition from Southampton’s Angus Gunn and Newcastle United youngster Freddie Woodman.
